Tutorial: Cannot Connect to Yahoo Messenger?

I have received many emails regarding this subject.
Yahoo Messenger v2.0 seems not to work on UAE, and other operators BlackBerry devices.
The reason behind this is basically Etisalat does not provide the required service books to enable such service.
In this tutorial, I will elaborate on how to solve this issue in several steps.
1. Connect your BlackBerry to a computer, and using BlackBerry Desktop Manager BACKUP the device fully.
2. Download the following file: yahoov2sb.ipd
3. Now, using BlackBerry Desktop Manager Backup and Restore option, restore the yahoov2sb.ipd file.
4. If you recieve an error: “Cannot restore ready only database on device” you have to do the following steps, else skip to step 5:
- Goto Manage Connections on your BlackBerry device, and turn all connections off.
- Goto Options > Advanced Options > Service Book and delete the whole list one by one.
- Goto step 3, and restore the file again.
5. Goto Options > Advanced Options > Host Routing Table (HRT) > Click on the Menu button and select ‘Register Now’.
6. Now you need to login to http://etisalat.blackberry.com/ or your BIS/BES account and reload the service books:
- On the left margin click on ‘Service Books’
- Click ‘Send’
